What is home health care?
Home health care is medical in nature and
typically involves helping someone to recover
from an illness or injury. Home health care
professionals are licensed practical nurses,
therapists, and home health aides who work
for Alvis F. Johnson Home Health & Hospice.
In addition, volunteers provide services.
Why should I use it?
Registered nurses provide medical services to
patients in the comfort of their own homes.
They can oversee wound care for pressure
sores or a surgical wound, share patient
and caregiver education, give injections,
monitor serious illnesses, and more. Other
professionals and volunteers provide
additional services to improve quality of life.
